Donna Marie Fox, 75, of Stanford went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, after a long illness. She was born on September 20, 1950, to the late Jess W. and Nina R. Fox.Donna retired from the University of Kentucky as a Senior Extension Specialist for 4-H Youth Development. She managed the state 4-H camping centers and 4-H Shooting Sports program. She was physically active and enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, kayaking, hiking, and pickleball until her illness.Survivors include her husband and loving caregiver of 37 years, Steven E. Bernard of Lancaster; a brother, Bill R. (Brenda) Fox, of Danville; stepdaughter, Sarah Bernard, of Lexington; stepson, Shaun E. (April) Bernard, of Cleveland; and many, many Rousey and Fox family cousins.She always enjoyed watching the snow fall and watching her birds at their many bird feeders from her window to the world – her “happy place” – her sunroom. Now she’ll have a larger window in heaven to enjoy all of God’s beauty.
Donna’s wishes for cremation have been honored. There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 7 PM. Her family will welcome friends and family from 4 PM until the time of the service. Pastor Tim Thompson and Jimmy Rousey will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to the Nicholasville Methodist Church Manna Ministry, 303 W. Main St., Nicholasville, KY 40356 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
