| Sherry L. Ward, age 63, of White Pine,TN passed away at her home on August 17, 2011 after a lingering illness. She was a faithful member of Leadvale Baptist Church until her sickness prevented her from attending. She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Melba Rousey; five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Calvin Ward; daughters, Dawn (Dennis) Barker, Donna (Ross Jasper) Lamb, Ronda Price and Robin (Michael) Parker; the loves of her life, her grandchildren Dennis Barker, Jr., Eric Rector, Brittany Starnes, Latoshia Price, Megan Jordan, Matthew and Jacob Parker; six great-grandchildren; brothers, James Rousey of Alaska and Steve Rousey of Illinois; sisters, Barbara Meyers and Donna Rousey, both of Illinois; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 8:00pm in Leadvale Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Charles Robison officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm prior to the service at the church. A graveside interment service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 in White Pine Cemetery at 1:00pm.
